HEMP SEEDS
Ideal eaten directly, sprinkled onto salads, cereal, flapjack or used
to flavour and decorate breads. Can be sprouted and added to salads or used to make hemp milk. Gluten free, hemp will not trigger coeliac disease. Toasted hemp seeds are a good source of phosphorous, magnesium, zinc, copper and manganese.
It has long been known for its diuretic properties, as a tonic for
debility and a treatment for influenza like illnesses. Recent research
suggests that it contains compounds that are capable of stimulating the
immune system and may help combat cancer. It may also help relieve symptons of ezcema. The seeds contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary for good health. Seeds are an adequate source of calcium and iron. They can be taken on a daily basis with no longterm side effects.

GOJI BERRIES
Goji berries (wolfberry) are native to the Himalayas and Mongolia. The fruit is
nicknamed the happy berry because of the sense of wellbeing it is said
to induce. Berries are one of the most nutrition rich berries in the
world, containing seven of the eight essential amino acids and 500 times
more vitamin C than oranges.
Goji berries can be nibbled
or used like dried fruit in muffins, breads and cakes. In Asia they are used for savoury dishes. Soak 10-20 minutes in water, then add at the last minute, to soup and stews.

source of protein and omega 3 oils. Linseed, or flax seed at it is otherwise known, can be used by
children and adults alike for constipation.

Fenugreek seeds can be sprouted or ground. Sprouts contain vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, D, niacin and lots of iron and phosphorus. Seeds can be used on a daily basis to reduce blood sugar levels in diabetes. Also help with high cholesterol, irritable bowel, gastritis and symptoms of the menopause.
