TURMERIC
Turmeric may also help to reduce cholesterol. Turmeric is normally used as a spice to colour foods yellow. It is also increasingly being used in the prevention of cancer. The spice can be added to food on a regular basis, to rice dishes, stews, curries, potatoes and mayonnaise, as a food colouring.

99p - 40g Turmeric

GLOBE ARTICHOKE
Globe Artichoke has been studied over the last 30 years. It has been shown that the artichoke leaf lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The improvement in cholesterol levels was between 5 and 45%. This was using a daily dose of 7g equivalent of dried leaf. The medicinal properties are in the leaf, not the flowerhead which is eaten as a vegetable. It should be taken over several months to see positive results. Globe Artichoke Leaf is available as capsules.
NOTE: Consult your doctor first if you have gallstones.

GUGGUL - Commiphora mukul
