ACNE & BOILS

Herbs that are useful are burdock, yellow dock, red clover, echinacea, tea tree and zinc. Acne may be helped by calendula, available in creams, and very often by a supplement of zinc, either by capsules or by eating pumpkin seeds.

Tea Tree Essential Oil
Tea tree is unrivalled for its antiseptic action. It is a must for a first aid kit. It is effective at fighting fungal infections for hair, skin and nails. Useful for ME and invaluable for cystitis, thrush and itching in that area. Tea tree oil can be used for acne, athletes foot, boils, carbuncles, chicken pox, herpes, verrucas, warts, cuts and wounds. For fungal infections apply neat tea tree oil sparingly twice daily.
